Obituary of Debra D. Scholl

Debra Ann (Delling) Scholl, age 60, of Paupack died peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, November 29, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard F. Scholl Jr. Born May 1, 1954, at Fort Bragg, NC, she was the daughter of Alberta (Seese) Delling of Blooming Grove and the late George Delling. She was an honor graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 1972. She and her husband Richard are best known locally as the co-founders of Pocono Security. In 1992 they sold Pocono Security and co-founded a national consumer electronics distribution firm, Worthington Distribution. The love of Deb's life was her family, children and grandchildren. Deb enjoyed boating, spending time at Lake George NY and loved to read. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her two children: Richard F. Scholl III and his wife Emily of Tafton and Martha Scholl of Manhattan, NY; three sisters: Brenda Drake and her husband Dan of Hawley, Wanda Nichols of Wichita, KS, and Linda Delabar and her husband Mike of Blooming Grove; two grandchildren: Benjamin and Jillian Scholl; and many nieces and nephews.
