Obituary of Roger DeMany

Roger DeMany, age 66, of Paupack died Saturday, September 22, 2012, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with his wife of 47 years, the former Sandra S. Anke and two daughters, Lynda Koehler and Allison DeMany with him.
Born August 29, 1946, in Honesdale, PA, he was the son of the late John M. and Edna Singer (Locklin) DeMany. A Paupack resident for most of his life, he had attended Wallenpaupack Area High School. He was the Road Maintenance Foreman for Palmyra-Pike Township prior to his retirement. He was also the owner of Roger's Carts.
Roger was a Life Member of Tafton Fire Co., served on the EMA in Pike Co. and was a PA State Constable. He enjoyed antique cars and was an avid flier of model airplanes. His family was very important to him and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife and two daughters, he is survived by a granddaughter: Lyndsy Mergner, daughter of Allison of Tafton, PA; and a son-in-law: Charles Koehler Jr. of Paupack, PA.
His life will be celebrated privately at the convenience of the family. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
