Obituary of Elmer G. Tam

Elmer G. "Jerry" Tam, age 67, of Tafton and formerly of Auburn & Spanaway, WA, died Monday, January 19, 2015 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.
Mr. Tam was born September 10, 1947 in Chewelah, WA and was the son of Leona (Millard) and the late Elmer W. Tam.
He served in the Navy aboard the USS WASP during Vietnam.
Elmer was a manager and taught airplane construction for Boeing throughout the world. He loved to work with wood and was a member of NRA and the American Legion Post in Hawley.
He is survived by his wife: Donna Kay (Watters) Tam; his mother, Leona (Millard) Tam of Yelm, WA; two sisters: Sandra Johnson of Covington, WA, Debbie Davidson of Rainier, WA and several generations of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be Saturday, January 24th at 11:30 am at Pine Grove Cemetery , 475 Route 507, Paupack with Rev. Douglas Rhine, officiating.
