Kathleen M. Clavin, age 61, of Paupackan Lake Estates, Hawley, died Sunday, May 3, 2015, at home following a brief illness. Kathy was born December 13, 1953, in Manhattan, NY, and was the daughter of the late John J. and Dorothy (Kelly) Clavin. Formerly of Manhattan, NY, she had been a Hawley resident for 25 years. She will be remembered fondly by her many customers that she met while working as a clerk at Sunoco in Hawley. She is survived by a brother: John J. Clavin and his wife Kathleen of Wallkill, NY; three sisters: Dorothy DeLuca and her husband Ernie of Bronx, NY, Maureen Mimnaugh and her husband Jim of Hawley, and Eileen Toohey and her husband Robert of Long Island, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Kathy was a loving sister and wonderful aunt to her family. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 7, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, May 8, at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, with Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends should go directly to the church the morning of the Funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, NY.
