We knew Bob and Pat for a long time, and despite our generation gap, we got along great with them. After my wife and I got married, we had humble beginning like most young couples. Bob asked us to go out for a quick drink on Valentines (there was a blizzard the night before and we were helping him shovel out his store). The four of us sat at the bar and each had one drink. Afterwards he told us he and Pat were going home, but surprised us by telling us that after they leave we were to pick the nicest table in the house and order anything we want. That's the kind of people they were.
