Welcome home. That is how Mr. and Mrs. Coutts have greeted our family, Willam and Mary Powers, Michael and Patti Powers, my brother Michael Gagliardi and I, and all our family and friends that had the blessed opportunity to be in their presence. My family has been welcomed home to Loch Highlands every year since the late 1970's. Mr. Coutts is legend to us. I am forever grateful for the hospitality and the greatest family memories. Welcome home Mr. Coutts, I look forward to seeing you again.

Our sincere condolences to the family. We met George ten years ago when we moved to Sand Ct. He was a most dignified, humble and Christian man and we feel honored to have had some long conversations with him over the years. We pray your faith will carry you through the difficult days ahead.

We are so sorry for your loss. My family has been going to his cabins since I was about 4/5 years old (35+ years) and some of our best memories are from those vacations. We will be up there next week and the week after. Mr. Coutts will be missed dearly. Patti, Chris and Callianna Onjian (nee Powers)

It was wonderful to visit with Bud, Nan and Dulcie just a short time ago, and now he lives on in another realm and always in the hearts of those who love him. He was a fine gentleman to whom his family showed deep devotion and care. Sending condolences to his family and friends during this time of loss, wishing them the blessing of good memories.

I feel honored to have been in the company of such a remarkable man. Thank you Bud, for your service, and for providing us with a glimpse of heaven here on earth. Rest in peace, I'm sure there are cabins there that need some work.

George was simply a terrific guy, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather! A man of integrity, honesty with a love for God and country, he was truly one of our 'Greatest Generation' and will be missed very much by all who knew him. I would like to take the liberty of including the following poem by John Gillespie Magee, Jr. in honor of George, the life he led and his service to our country, both on the national, and local level.
High Flight
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, --and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of --Wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark or even eagle flew --
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
