Evelyn Wildrick, age 68, of Tafton died following a lengthy illness on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at VNA Hospice at Geisinger CMC, Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ronald Wildrick. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ciro (Jerry) Manzo. Born March 11, 1947, in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of Esther Badrian and the late Irwin Badrian. Formerly of Staten Island, she had worked as a case manager for special needs children, where she advocated above and beyond to find the services they needed. Her heartfelt dedication was recognized and remembered by those she helped. In her free time, she love to spend time with her grandchildren and her dogs. She also loved to read, garden and ski. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter: Jessica Manzo-Abbott and her husband Michael of Honesdale; two grandchildren: Bailey and Jared Martin of Honesdale; and her mother: Esther Badrian. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 18, at 4:30 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley. Visitation will be held from 3 PM until the service begins at 4:30 PM. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
