Obituary of Edward Eugene Duncan

Edward Eugene Duncan, of Elmont, NY, and Hawley, PA, passed away unexpectedly on August 3rd, 2016, due to complications from diabetes. Eddie was born on August 21, 1987, to Edward and Linda Duncan of Elmont, NY. Moving to Floral Park, he attended John Lewis Childs Elementary School and received Holy Communion from Our Lady of Victory Church before he and his mom relocated to Pennsylvania. In PA Eddie attended Wallenpaupack school district and graduated from Wallenpaupack High School in 2005. He kept close ties both on LI and in PA. While on Long Island Eddie worked in the construction industry and also for the Brick Layers Local in and around NYC, and worked for several towing companies in the tri-state area. Eddie loved cars, like his dad, and spent time helping him in the auto body business. Eddie was a loving, kind hearted soul, who cherished his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by so many. Eddie is survived by his mother Linda Duncan (Jeff), and little sister Jade Andryshak, of Greentown, PA; his father Ed Duncan (Patty), grandmother Carol Duncan, and Uncle Steven (Kim) Duncan, all of Elmont, NY; Aunt Elysee Sullivan (Tom) of Massapequa, NY; Aunt (and God-ma-ma) Regina (Gigi) and Uncle Matt Cacciatore, and cousin Matthew Cacciatore; and Aunt Sherry and Uncle Jim Karpowicz, all of Floral Park, NY; cousin Jim Hunter of Shohola, PA; cousins Brenda Bryan (Jim) and their daughters Jamie and Julie, of Lake Ariel, PA. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, from 1:30-2:30PM at Teeters' Funeral Home in Hawley, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eddie's name to a diabetes research foundation or charity of your choice.
