Stephen A. Pastor, Jr., age 75, of Tafton died following an illness on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, the former Martha M. Velazquez.
Born October 26, 1941, in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Stephen and Helen (Chmura) Pastor Sr. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. Stephen worked many places over the years, he worked longest as a foundryman for 3M in New Jersey in the fabrication of medical devices. Although he loved to fish and hunt, the greatest love of his life was his granddaughter, Izzy.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter: Lorraine Dawn Bartleson and her husband Stephen of Hawley; his granddaughter: Izzy Bartleson; and his cousin: Patricia Marino of Honesdale.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
