Obituary of Patricia Helena Latino Schaepe

Patricia L. Schaepe, age 78, of Hawley died Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale after a short illness. Mrs. Schaepe was born October 13, 1938 in Dover, NJ the daughter of the late Pasquala "Pat" and Mabel (Miller) Latino. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward H. Schaepe in 2002, two sisters: DeeDee Arnoa and Sharon Rettas. A homemaker, she was also a great fan of the NY Giants and the Jets. Known as "Patty" or Grammy, she was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother and friend who was loved by many. She is survived by he five children: Sheryl Gumble of Hawley, PA; Susan Marie Schaepe-Peay of Citrus Heights, CA; Wayne Edward Schaepe of Port Jervis, NY; Paul Anthony Schaepe of Plymouth, PA and Michael Alan Schaepe of Paupack, PA; two sisters: Kathy Cappinger of Ledgewood, NJ and Barbara Valentine of Stroudsburg, PA. She leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Saturday, December 3rd from 3:30 to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St. Hawley, followed by a prayer service at 7 PM with Deacon John Giglio, officiating. Inurnment will be in B.V.M. Queen of Peace Cemetery in Spring of 2017.
