Obituary of Robert W. Nadratowski

Robert W. Nadratowski, age 81, of Hawley died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He is survived by his wife, Joan Anne (Hansman) Nadratowski. They were married in 1985.

Born February 21, 1936, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Theodore and Amelia (Scanagatta) Nadratowski. Following graduation from high school, he served with the US Army.

He was an Elevator Mechanic with Local #1 Elevator Constructors Union in New York prior to his retirement in 1995.

A 15-year Hawley resident, he was a member of BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church in Hawley.

Robert is also survived by a sister Lois Howard of Bloomingdale NJ abd several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Theodore Nadratowski, and his brother and sister-in-law: John A. and Anna Nadratowski.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 8, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. There will be a Funeral Mass on Friday, June 9, at 10:00 AM at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Ledgedale, celebrated by Rev. Stephen Stavoy. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
