Obituary of Philip Charles Sohn

Philip Charles Sohn, age 58, of White Mills died following a brief illness on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Mary Nardone. Together for 38 years, they were married in 2011.

 

Born July 30, 1958, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of Katrina (Caputo) Gammaro of Brick, NJ, and Richard Sohn. Formerly of Bloomfield, NJ, he had been a White Mills resident for 13 years. He worked as a service writer for Walmart Automotive Dept. An avid gamer, Philip was a handyman and a jack of all trades.

 

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters: Kathleen Thierer and her husband Daniel of Northampton and Tiffany LeBar and her husband Steve of Marshalls Creek; one brother: Richard Sohn of Bloomfield, NJ; four grandchildren: Austin, Travis, Sophia and Abigail; and one nephew:  Carmine Sohn.

 

Calling hours will be Monday, July 31, from 4 to 5 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Memorial Service will begin at 5:00 PM. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
