Larry was a good friend during my early years at MIT. I remember him as being extremely bright, affable, humble and open. We used to eat pistachios (he'd never seen one before) and do problem sets together. He was a huge help to me during ROTC, teaching me the fundamentals that everyone else seemed to already know. A great guy.

Hector

Larry's family has my deepest sympathy for their loss. I was fortunate to know Larry as an owner of the high-threat international security company, SOC. Larry was the CEO. He brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company as very straight shooter and highly competent leader. He treated staff and customers with respect and never seemed to lose his sense of humor even under the most trying circumstances. I'm sure Larry will be sorely missed by family and friends. I had great regard and respect for him. RIP Larry. Bob Shiells

Larry was among my very best friends in Fulda. He was both fun-loving and focused on his work, smart and personable, and I learned a lot from him about how to be the engineer among a bunch of poli-sci majors. He was one of just a few friends at my small wedding in Austria in 1982, and we visited often when he was in grad school. I am so very sorry that I saw less and less of him as the years went on, and now will never have the opportunity to talk to him again.
My condolences to all the family and friends.

I was very saddened to hear of Larry's passing. We worked closely together at Acuren and though it was for a relatively short time, he made an impact and was clearly a leader of great integrity who cared about his colleagues. He also loved his family and enjoyed talking about their weekends and special events together. He will be missed.

I cannot believe Larry is gone. He will rest fondly in our memories. We had a blast playing rugby at Wharton . Larry was an outstanding prop a very difficult and combative position which suited him just fine. He was tough as nails and we were glad he was on our side . He went about his business with integrity and a big smile on his face which was infectious.
I only wish I had seen more of Larry my favorite tank commander .
May he rest in a well earned peace

In my youth Larry was a brother to me, and an example of hard work and grit.
He was truly a self-made man and all his worldly sucess he bullt from responding to tragedy with determination and planning.
He was a proud father to his sons and always kind to me and his nephew, my son, Joshua.
Although our paths diverged, there are damn few who know what it was like on Toner St. and Hillside Drive, eating Marie Douglas's sweet potatoes or vegetable soup, playing pinochle with June, Marie and Sam
like it was war.
I know how proud his grandparents and mother were of him, and his brother's admiration.
Love to Sally and her fine sons.
