Obituary of Anne L. Pacitti
Anne L. Pacitti, age 84, of Canal Acres, Lackawaxen and formerly of King of Prussia, PA, died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mrs. Pacitti was born April 19, 1933 in Shamokin, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Susanna (Friedman) Klebasko. She was preceded in death by her first husband Robert Povish Sr. of Shamokin, PA and her daughter, Nicole Prinzivalli.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Emil Pacitti, four daughters: Elizabeth Anderson (the late Ed Anderson) of Charleston, SC, Carol Thompson of Gerrardstown, WV; Judith and her husband, Richard Sullivan of Hawley, PA; Karin Povish of Milford, MI; three sons: Thomas and his wife, Elise Pacitti of Acworth, GA; Eric and his wife, Patricia Povish of Sanatoga, PA; Robert Povish of Boyertown, PA; sixteen grandchildren; Laura (George), Ian (Kelsey), Lee (Kerbe), Victoria (Jack), Kristen, Rebecca, Eric Jr.(Jenn), Emily (Carter), Chelsea, Tara, Tyler, Angelina, and the late twins Rachel and Melissa, and twelve great grandchildren.
She was a dedicated employee of Bell of PA as an Operator and Supervisor. She was a favored babysitter at Woodloch Pines Resort for almost 30 years. Anne was a member of B.V.M. Queen of Peace RC Church and was the former Chairperson of the Parish Council.
Anne was a women with many associations and interests; she was an officer of the King of Prussia newcomers club, the past president of the Mother of Divine Providence Womens Guild. Upon moving to the Poconos she became the president of the Woodledge Village Community Association. She enjoyed sewing, music, travelling, sports, and spending time with family.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 12th from 7 to 8:30 PM at BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, PA, followed by a prayer vigil at 8:30 with Deacon Matthew Lorent, officiating. A memorial mass Monday, January 15th at 11 AM at St. Columbkill Roman Catholic Church, 200 Indian Spring Rd, Boyertown with visitation from 10 to 11 AM.
Inurnment will be in B.V.M. Queen of Peace Cemetery.
