Obituary of Anne M. Fonalledas

Anne M. Fonalledas, age 80, of Tink Wig Mountain Lake Estates, Hawley and formerly of Northampton, PA, Islip, NY and Brooklyn NY, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at home with her family.

Mrs. Fonalledas was born August 24, 1937 in Queens, NY, and was the daughter of the late George and Theresa (Scheuring) Willenbucher. She was predeceased by her husband, Enrique "Henry" Fonalledas in 2003.

Anne was a former Estee Lauder assembler and an administrative assistant for Chrysler Corp.

She was a member of the Adoration Society of BVM Assumption Parish in Northampton, former member of BVM Queen of Peace Church in Hawley, Girl Scout Leader in Long Island and Tink Wig POA board member. She loved Elvis and was an avid collector of his memorabilia.

Anne is survived by one son:  Robert Henry Fonalledas and his wife Mary of Fuquay-Varina, NC;  three daughters: Theresa Fonalledas of Hawley, Linda Vega and her husband, Luis of Tink Wig, Hawley, and Marianne Fitzsimons and her husband Seamus of Northampton, PA;  seven grandchildren:  Luis Vega, Jr., Melissa Bachman, Christopher Vega, Daniel Lopez, Ashley Lopez, Anne-Marie Vega, , Robert Fonalledas, Jr. and three greatgrandchildren, Landon, Madelyn and Logan Vega,  one sister: Mildred Cullen of Maspeth, Queens, NY, a Goddaughter, Maureen Ivers and nephew Brian Cullen and many cousins.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 30th at 10 am at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley, by Rev. Richard W. Beck, Pastor.

Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery, Hawley with her husband Enrique "Henry".
