Obituary of Barbara M. Frasier Gay

Barbara Frasier Gay, aged 83, of Woodloch Springs, Hawley, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas A. Frasier, in 2002, and her second husband, Ronald G. F. Gay, in 2007.

Born in Huntington, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Harvey and Clare (Buck) McCoy.  Barbara worked for 25 years at St Peters Nursery School in Huntington Station, NY.  She retired to Woodloch Springs in 1999. She enjoyed cards, bowling and golf. Barbara chaired the community's Activities Committee for 18 years and was a member of the Advisory Board for many years. Barbara was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Rowland, PA.

She is survived by 4 children; Bruce Frasier and his wife Cristina of Springfield, TN, Lisa deBlieck and her husband Johan of Rochester, NY, Douglas Frasier Jr. of Sachse, TX, and Susan Ambrogi and her husband Albert of Greenlawn, NY; eight grandchildren: Jessica, Justin and his wife Gina, Bryan, Jennifer, Kari and her husband Clayton, Thomas and his wife Kelly, Jeanine and Sabrina; one great grandchild:  Keagan Thomas; and her companion:  Herman Winkler.

Calling hours will be Monday, September 24th, from 2 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Tuesday, September 25, at 10 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Road, Rowland with Rev. Norman R. Beighley, Pastor, officiating.

Private cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA.
