Obituary of E. James Longhenry

E. James Longhenry, age 61, of Lords Valley died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at home. Born May 4, 1957, in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late Elmer W. and Marion R. (Cooper) Longhenry. Prior to his retirement he had worked as an electronics mechanic at Tobyhanna Army Depot.

He is survived by two sons: James Elmer Longhenry of Matamoras and Joshua James Longhenry of State College; one sister: Paula Lasky of Lords Valley; one brother: John Longhenry of Lords Valley; and three grandchildren: Mason, Chloe and Cooper Longhenry.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Hafer and Joyce Shaffer, and a brother, Joseph Longhenry.

Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 11 AM at Lords Valley Community Church, 707 Route 739, Lords Valley, PA.
