Obituary of Kyle Thomas Messinetti

Kyle Thomas Messinetti, age 26, of Masthope in Lackawaxen died Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born March 25, 1992, in Rockville Centre, NY, he was the son of William George and Deborah Stephanie (Fisher) Messinetti also of Masthope, Lackawaxen. A Lackawaxen resident for most of his life, he attended Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 2010. He worked as a sound and light technician for New York Orchestra Entertainment. He was passionate about music and taught himself to play guitar, bass and drums. His friends were inspired by his love of music and, under his guidance, themselves learned to play musical instruments. They then created bands where they were able to share their love of music by playing together. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters: Mariel Messinetti and her husband Luis Lugo of Tafton and Deborah Galasso and her husband Peter of Massapequa, NY; one brother: Alexander Jack and his wife Lenore of Lynbrook, NY; his paternal grandmother: Mary Messinetti of Margate, FL; and his nieces and nephews: Avery and Greyson Lugo, Justin, Samantha and Nicholas Galasso, and Jasmine and Scarlett Jack; and three uncles: Fred, Ron and Carl. He dearly loved his friends and family, especially his nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, October 21, from 1 to 4 PM and 7 to 10 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The funeral will be Monday, October 22, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Colleen E. Cox, Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.
