Obituary of Kevin Robert Peters

Kevin Robert Peters, age 57, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley died Monday, November 19, 2018, at home. He is survived by his wife, Frances S. (Cahill) Peters.

Born March 16, 1961, in Queens, NY, he was the son of Robert J. Peters of Bethpage, NY, and the late Patricia Ann (Byrnes) Peters. He grew up in Bethpage and later moved to West Babylon, NY, and worked as a contractor.

Kevin was proud to be 30 years sober and dedicated his life to helping others as a mentor and role model. He loved to golf in his younger years. He was compassionate and loving and put his family before everything else.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters: Christina Frances Peters and Jessica Marie Peters of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, PA; one son: Robert Daniel Peters and his fiancée Giavanna Imbro of Hawley; his beloved grandson: Owen Peters; two brothers: Shaun Peters and his wife Stacy of Bethpage, NY and Robbie Peters and his wife Christine of Garden City, NY; a brother-in-law: Frank Sean Simmons; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by a sister, Tracy Simmons in 2016.

A memorial Mass will be held January 12, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, 220 Central Ave., Bethpage, NY  11714. PA. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
