I'm so sorry to hear the news of Bill.
Bill lived next-door to my grandparents, Clayton and Agnes Chapman and then after their deaths, to Kathryn Chapman Voigt, Clayton's and Agnes's daughter, before moving to Bethany assisted living.
Bill was kind, always kind. Loved to laugh. Was an honorable citizen and spoke endearingly of Hawley. His stories were full of flavor and fact. Every Sunday, Bill delivered the Sunday Scranton Times to my grandparents' home. That was after he'd gone to church. Bill always asked how we were doing? He was sincerely curious, not perfunctory. If one of us had a problem, Bill suggested a solution. He knew everything about the railroads, too, which thrilled me. I still think of Hawley when I hear trains pass miles away from my home outside Washington D.C.
Rest in peace, Bill. You made a difference and left a remarkable legacy.

You were a very interesting man to talk to and very respectful of everyone, never had a bad word to say about anyone. A very kind person that will be highly missed. RIP Bill
