Obituary of Joseph P. LoPue, Jr.

Joseph P. LoPue, Jr., age 84, of Tanglwood North, Tafton, died Friday, January 11th at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.

 

Mr. LoPue was born January 13, 1934 in New York City, NY and was the son of the late Hannah (Brosan) and Joseph LoPue Sr.

 

He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a supervisor for NY Tel/NYNEX.

 

Joseph was a former EMT, Tafton Ambulance and Tanglwood Ski Patrol member and former board President of Tanglwood Community Assoc. He loved woodworking and carpentry.

 

He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Elizabeth A. (Celentano) LoPue four daughters: JoAnn and husband, Anthony Bracciodietta of Harrison, NY, Linda and husband, Gerald Camhy of Valley Cottage, NY, Carolyn and husband, George Pesco of Bronx, NY, Andrea LoPue of Poughkeepsie, NY; eight grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jessica, Rosemarie, Michelle, Joseph, Dayna, Jared and Tyler; two step grandchildren: Shari and Jenna; six great grandchildren: Kenzi, Hutson, Colton, Makayla, Jack and Skylar; one brother, Philip LoPue of Brentwood, LI, NY.

 

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 15th  from 3 to7 pm at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA.

 

Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA.
