Obituary of Albert Kofler

Albert Kofler, age 94, of Newfoundland and formerly of Glendale and Ridgewood, Queens, NY died Tuesday, January 15th at home.

Mr. Kofler was born October 22, 1924 in Gottschee, Slovenia and was the son of the late Anna (Raschke) and John Kofler. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph, Stephanie, Frank and Helma.

He was a furniture upholsterer and loved hunting and outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife: Bertha (Spreitzer) Kofler two daughters: Anita Kofler of Glendale, NY and Ellie Kofler and her fiance', Frank Lanzer of Glendale, NY; two brothers: Felix Kofler of FL and Helmut Kofler of Plainview, NY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 22nd from 2 to 6 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, January 23rd at 10 AM at B.V.M. Queen of Peace Church by Rev. Richard Beck, Pastor.

Burial will be in B.V.M. Queen Of Peace Cemetery in Hawley, PA.
