Obituary of Ritner T. Parkhurst

Ritner T. Parkhurst, age 75, of Tanglwood Lakes, Greentown died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Hospice Of The Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Mr. Parkhurst was born October 4, 1943 in Elizabeth, NJ and was the son of the late William A. and Helen (Tomlinson) Parkhurst. He retired as a contractor from William A. Parkhurst & Sons Inc. in 2000. He was a member of Mountainside Presbyterian Church in Mountainside, NJ; Paupack Hills Country Club, former Board Member of Tanglwood Lakes Community Association where he and his family were weekend residents since 1985. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Mary Ann K. (Perina) Parkhurst, one daughter: Dawn Marie Dix of Howell Twp., NJ and one son: Drew Tomlinson Parkhurst of Yardley, PA; two grandchildren: Bennett Parkhurst and Avery Mae Parkhurst; three brothers: Rodger Parkhurst of FL, Phillip Parkhurst of NJ and William Parkhurst of NJ. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
