Judith Wietzke, age 75, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 , after a difficult and valiant battle with Alzheimer's Disease. Judith was born December 4, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late George and Ellen (Clampitt) Keller. Judith enjoyed bowling, Scrabble, movies and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She was kind, caring, and possessed a contagious smile. Judith was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church until she fell ill. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to others in need. Judith is survived by her husband of 53 years: Richard Wietzke, one daughter: Tammy and one son: Richard and grandson, Landon. Visitation hours will be Saturday, March 2nd from 4 PM to 6:30 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by the funeral service at 6:30 with Rev. Norman R. Beighley, Pastor officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in Judy's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org or Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60601 The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Kim Davie, Veronica Rosemergy, and the Compassionate Care Hospice team. Throughout her life, Judy maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Her constant nurturing, love, and faith will never be forgotten.
