Just saw this and feel so sad. Judy was an exceptional teacher and peer. She always went out of her way
and gave so much to her students. The last time I saw Judy she was at a craft festival. She was, as usual, happy and enjoying the crafts and and the beautiful day.She told me that she met a wonderful man. PA? She told me how happy she was. I remember how happy she said he made her feel. I’m so glad to know that they married. My deepest sympathy to all of Judy’s loved ones. The world has lost a beautiful light.

Judy has added happiness and joy to the Farella Family … we had many conversations by phone, face book and e-mail … she was passionate in her love for Michael, her Children and Grand Children … she loved her painting … and face booked me her latest picture 24 hours before becoming ill … she encouraged Michael in his hunting adventures … Judy and Michael liked to travel … Judy will be missed but great memories will make it a little easier … know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers … hugs and love

I worked with Judy for many years at Greenburgh Eleven I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was a warm and wonderful person to have as a friend and a co-worker. As the art teacher I was glad when she took up painting, her talent as an artist mirrored the beautiful person she was. She will be missed! My deepest condolences to her family!

I would just like to give my condolences to Chris and his family. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting his mom, it is very obvious that he got his artistic abilities from her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Chris. I’m really sorry for your loss. Remember the good times, her laugh, her smile, the things you loved the most about your mom. She will forever be looking down on you and your family.

I remember working with Judy for 6 years at greenburgh 11. We taught business classes and enjoyed sharing ideas, stories about the students, and just had a wonderful time connecting! We had so many laughs and I am so grateful that she was a part of my life. Peace always.

I was Judy's painting instructor and friend.
Judy came to me to learn to paint. She got better and better and fell in love with landscape painting. We became good friends over time and I got to watch her bloom into a wonderful artist. She would talk to me about her children and how important being a mom was to her. Her beautiful paintings were recently displayed in a show titled " Unclipped" at the Wallkill River School in Montgomery, N.Y.
I will miss her very much.
