Obituary of Drema T. Jackson

Drema T. Jackson, age 79, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley died Friday, July 19, 2019 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. Born July 6, 1940, in Beckley, WV, Drema was the daughter of the late Percy Nathaniel and Lucille (Randall) Dickerson. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Director of Communications by Elmhurst City Hospital In New York. Drema had also worked as telephone operator at New York Hospital in Queens and briefly at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale as well. An interior decorator at heart, she loved to shop and decorate her home. She is survived by two daughters: Debra Jackson of Hawley and Donna Jackson of Binghamton, NY; four sons: Raymond Jackson of North Carolina, Gary Jackson of Long Island, NY, Edward Jackson of Long Island, NY and Richard Jackson of Maryland; her grandchildren: Doriann, Judith, Michael, Aaron, Merrick, Keenan, Rejae, Shaariq, Allison, Chad, Edward T., Deirdre, Tyler, Nia; and her great grandchildren: Jahmall, Dallas, Lance (Shuggy), Maddox, Shamyah, Jalynn and Rosalie. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
