About 10 years ago, Mrs. Mary Kipp, a first grade teacher at Wallenpaupack invited Mr. Horner into her classroom. Her objective was to teach the children that people who look a little different are the same as the rest of us. She prepared the first graders by explaining that Mr. Horner looked like Santa Claus. Apparently, the kids got the message because they loved Mr. Horner and Mr. Horner loved them. Mr. Horner has been invited back to the school many times since then.

Cuz was one in a million. He will be missed dearly by everyone who came in contact with him. He was available any time he was asked to help us to help others by either ringing a bell in Wayne County or playing Santa at an event. In July we were trying to raise money for children in the Carbondale area. We needed a Santa so that we can have a Christmas in July. We gave Cuz a call. He simply said “I’ll be There”. He never expected anything in return and always seemed to love helping. Thank you for all you do to help other Cuz. God Bless You.
