Obituary of Rosie May Frisbie
Rosie May Frisbie, daughter to the late Johnathan and Elizabeth Green, was born on January 10, 1938, in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She and her husband lived between New York and New Jersey while their kids grew up, finally settling back into Pennsylvania, in Hawley, where she resided for the better part of 30 years. She was cared for by her daughter, Pamela, for several years, after being diagnosed with Parkinson's. She spent her last year as a resident at Ellen Memorial. She passed away at Ellen Memorial in Honesdale on November 20, 2019.
She was all about family. She loved making wedding cakes, cooking for holiday events, and crocheting. Decades of holidays were spent at the Frisbie's.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Wayne Frisbie Sr.; her son: Jonathan Frisbie; siblings: Irene Watkins, Virginia Snyder, Marjorie Green, Myrtle Wahl, and Johnathan Green. She leaves behind her sister: Lorraine Stiffey; her children: Wayne (Jr.), Pamela, Michael, and Steven; her grandchildren: Benjamin, Kevin, Jennifer, Alisha, Eric, Laurie, Gregory, Katherine, Tyffannee, and Nicholas; and her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
