Joann Neimeyer, age 85, of Tink Wig, Hawley died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mrs. Neimeyer was born June 24, 1934 in St. Louis, MO and was the daughter of the late Guy and Blanche (Wagner) Walker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Steven William Neimeyer, in June 2019.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in St. Louis, MO.
She is survived by her husband of 9 years: Richard Joseph Getz, one step daughter: Janet Manning and two step sons: Michael Manning and Daniel Getz, one daughter-in-law, Laura Neimeyer; four grandchildren, Robert Henry Neimeyer II, Jeannette Neimeyer, Stacy Cariello and Joshua Manning; and 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be held in her hometown of St. Louis, MO
Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
