Joanne B McAteer, age 66, of Paupackan Lake Estates, Hawley died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at home.
Mrs. McAteer was born August 7, 1953 in Richmond Hills, NY and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Alice (VanRonk) Boone.
She was an expeditor for Bisaccia Co.. She loved to crochet and was an avid reader.
Joanne is survived by her husband: James McAteer; six sisters: Alice Bodnar of Naples, FL, Carole Hattorff of Shoreham, LI, NY, Ellen Gruber of Marco Island, FL, Patricia Picarello of Bedminster, NJ, Kathy Gallagher of McKinleyville, CA and Doreen Pitcher of Red Hook, NY; and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Boone of Stamford, CT.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 30th from 2 to 5 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 31st at 10 AM at BVM Queen Of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley by Rev. Richard Beck.
Inurnment will be in Lutheran All Faith Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, NY.
Memorials may be to donor's favorite charity.
