Obituary of Brooke Marie Nutt

Brooke Marie Nutt, age 22, of Hawley died Monday, May 18, 2020. Born December 7, 1997, in Honesdale, she was the daughter of Francis H. Nutt Sr. and Priscilla A. Bassani. A graduate of Wallenpaupack Area High School, Class of 2016, she was a member of the WAHS Players. She attended Hawley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her infant son: Joshua Wyatt Nutt; her father and stepmother: Frank and Nicole Nutt of Masthope, Lackawaxen; her mother: Priscilla Bassani of Lebanon, PA; maternal grandparents: Diane and Peter Bassani of Hawley; paternal grandmother: Linda Nutt of Hamburg, PA; two sisters: Mandi and Abigail Nutt of Kentucky; three brothers: Francis Nutt Jr. of Kentucky, Shane McKinney of Masthope, Lackawaxen, and J.J. Chasey of Masthope, Lackawaxen; her uncle: James Bassani; aunt and uncle: Jennifer and Eric Crombie; and her cousin: Greyson. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA. A memorial service will be held June 27th at 11 am at the Hawley United Methodist Church, 315 Church St,Hawley. Following COVID-19 guidelines, masks are required, and the church is limited to 75 people, overflow will be in the great hall with the service streamed. A luncheon will follow the service at the Hawley Ambulance Building, 219 River St.,Hawley.
