Gioia "Joyce" Nancy Spinelli, 87 of Rowland, PA passed away on May 18, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital due to complications of Parkinson Disease. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Annunziata (Scarlotta) Galletta. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Joseph Spinelli in 2007.
She is survived by her children, Francine, Frank & Robert, daughters-in-law, Beth and Chantel, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Joyce will always be remembered by her kind, compassionate nature and infectious laughter. Those that knew her, loved her!
Joyce retired from Wallenpaupack Area H.S. Cafeteria after 23 years of employment.
Visitation will be held at Teeters East Chapel, 505 Church Street, Hawley, PA on Friday, May 22nd from 12:00-2:00pm, then 6:00pm-8:00pm. A prayer service will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 10 AM by Deacon Paul Cooper at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley.
