Obituary of John H. Loeser

John H. Loeser, age 87, of Hidden Lake Estates, Hawley died Monday, June 29, 2020 at Regional Hospital of Scranton. Mr. Loeser was born January 20, 1933 in Bronx, NY and was the son of the late John and Margaret (Schafer) Loeser. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a budget analyst in the telecommunications industry. John loved spending time with his family first and foremost. He enjoyed working on the computer, and was an eternally optimistic Mets fan. He loved working with his hands and fixing things, including building their cherished log home in Hawley. His favorite pastimes included making stained glass panels and building model train layouts. He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Barbara Helen (Carew) Loeser, one daughter: Anne M.& her husband Mark Wisnewski and their children: Lauren, Thomas and Allison of Flanders, NJ and two sons: John J. & his wife Jen Loeser and their children: Samantha, Ava, Angela and Lily of Easton, PA and Brian M. & his wife Christina Loeser and their children: Kelly and Matthew of Nutley, NJ, and brother Fred and his wife Winnie Loeser of Lincroft, NJ. Funeral Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
