Daniel Brian Murphy, age 59, of The Hideout, Lake Ariel died Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale.
Born March 20, 1961, in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late James J. and Eleanor Veronica (Rettig) Murphy. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a toll collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
He is survived by three sisters: Katherine Baughman of England, Mary Murphy of New Jersey and Lorraine Kirkpatrick of Washington; two brothers: James Murphy of Florida and Joseph Murphy of New Jersey; and his extended family, Andrea Britt of Lake Ariel and her children: Ryan, Kyle and Amanda Britt.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel, PA.
