Frank "Pancho" X. Schooley, age 65, of Hawley died Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Mr. Schooley was born March 2, 1955 in Suffern, NY and was the son of the late Francis Joseph and the late Marjorie I. (White) Schooley. He was a graduate of Wallenpaupack Area School, Class of 1973 and worked at the family store, Schooley's Mountain Merchant in Blooming Grove and Skytop Lodge and was a painter and mason. Pancho enjoyed traveling and bicycling. He was a kind person and a good soul. He is survived by three sisters: Meg Janusewski of Paupack, PA, Kim Schooley of Manasas, VA and Robin Skibber of Blooming Grove, PA and four nieces and nephews: Lauren Janusewski; Lee Janusewski; Rose LoDolce; Jack LoDolce. A celebration of life will be Monday, October 5 2020 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by the eulogy at 7 PM. The family invites friends to share stories. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, everyone attending a visitation or service must wear proper face coverings and be socially distance. Pennsylvania regulations impose limits to 25 people at any time for indoor gatherings. Please observe these State rules. Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel with inurnment in Lords Valley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Blooming Grove Fire Department Auxillary, 484 PA-739, Hawley, PA 18428
