Jane and I have been thinking of you all, Barbara, Sandy, Jimmy and Linda, and your families since learning of Uncle Jim's passing. While we were unable to attend the viewing or services, our prayers have been with you. We watched the memorial video this morning and were touched by all of the beautiful pictures and memories.
My memories of Uncle Jim always include that big infectious smile of his. Gardening seemed to be in the blood of most of the Coutts boys, and I remember Uncle Jim's garden, just like Dad's and Uncle Don's. Then there was always Grammy and Uncle Bob's garden on the farm. Jane and I have a fond memory of the beautiful cabinets Uncle Jim built for Mom and Dad Sullivan's house on Sunny Point. The one wall was very high and these cabinets were three rows high there. They were absolutely out of Jane's reach :-), and required me to be on my toes or step stool for the top.
May these next days and years continue to show you all the wonderful gifts given by both of your parents. In love, Dave and Jane Coutts

I am praying for God to comfort those who love the Coutts family. Jim took great care of all that he was given. Treasure the good memories. I am so sad for your loss. I imagine there was a crowd gathered to welcome him and celebrate his Heavenly Coronation. No more pain or tears there.

Shane always loved telling me how much he loved spending time with you and his grandmother as a kid and what a hard working man you always were. I’m so glad he got to spend some time with you. Rest peacefully. Mary Grube(Shane’s wife).
