Susan Marie McCollum, age 71, a resident of Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel, died Thursday, November 26, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Paul McCollum.
Sue was born June 26, 1949, in Port Jervis, NY, and was the daughter of the late Nelson and Jean (Hamilton) Hammond. She was a graduate of Port Jervis High School.
A Hawley resident for most of her life, she was a clerk at the Lake Region IGA prior to her retirement. Sue enjoyed gardening and collectibles, especially Snoopy, Betty Boop and dishes.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Chad, Eric and his wife Aubrey, and Aaron and his wife Jen; one grandson: Bruce; two sisters: Kim Allen of South Carolina and Joanne Kirsch of Colorado; and two brothers: Fred Hammond of Port Jervis, NY and Richard Hammond of Sparrowbush, NY.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
