There are so many wonderful memories of Aunt Marie from my and my cousin’s’ childhood, memories too beautiful to ever forget. As my and my husband’s lives took us far away we always spent a kitchen table visit each holiday at her home. She, with a book close at hand, and a Mets game in the background (either new or reruns!). Our most recent adventure was to a Mets game in New York City summer of 2019 with little brother Danny. An amazing day with hours of lively conversations in the car, of course about baseball, and both her and Danny’s lives growing up. A day we spoke about so often on the phone.
As others would note she was a great hugger and an avid card player with an infectious laugh always bubbling to the surface. All those memories don’t really let you say goodbye as she will always be in our hearts.
Deep condolences and love to Diane, Sandy, Terri and her many grandchildren, with peace to all her family.

It’s hard to say goodbye to a woman who has been such a big part of our lives. Some of the things I most admired about my Aunt Marie was her Independence, her incredible energy and her love for the great outdoors. In her late 80s she was often found walking Gumbletown Road, at a hell of a pace. Aunt Marie was an avid hugger, a fun gambler and a great mom and sister. She was kind to everyone that she knew. I am thankful for all of the great memories and thankful she is at peace❤️ Love to Teri, Sandy, Diane and all of her grandchildren!!
