Sonja E. Marsh, age 82, of Paupackan Lake Estates, Hawley died Friday, December 25, 2020 at Linwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Scranton.
Mrs. Marsh was born October 8, 1938 in Union, NJ and was the daughter of the late Albert and Franziska (Bengl) Eisenmenger. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, John William Eisenmenger.
She was a legal secretary. Sonja enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading the Sunday comics, boat rides around the lake and fresh snow. She volunteered at the local community connection at Paupackan Lake Estates and helped with the Independence Day celebration.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Charles Arthur Marsh; one son, Eric Marsh, Sr. of Union, NJ; one daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer and Robert A Wuerthner of Annandale, NJ; four grandchildren: Leigha Marsh, Eric Marsh, Jr., Robert J. Wuerthner and Emma Wuerthner; one sister-in-law, Trudy Eisenmenger of Port Charlotte, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sonja's memory to the Alzheimer's Association NEPA Regional, 57 N. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel, PA.
