Obituary of Thomas F Hardman

Thomas F Hardman, age 74, of Hawley and formerly of Red Hook, NY, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Mr. Hardman was born March 2, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of the late Frank and Joan (Shindledecker) Hardman. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retail salesman. Tom loved old cars, riding motorcycles, dancing and cats. He enjoyed guns and target shooting. He was an infamous teller of jokes and cherished his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Linda Ann (Mandler) Hardman, one daughter: Debra Lynch-Colin of Flanders, NJ and three sons: Thomas & his wife, Gretchen Hardman of Hopatcong, NJ, Jonathan & his wife, Denise Hardman of Lake Como, PA and Matthew Hardman of Vestal, NY; Five grandchildren, Thomas, Michael, Nicholas, Meghan & Abbie; three sisters: Joan Chuisano of Olde Bridge, NJ, Pat Pollicino of Olde Bridge, NJ and Kathy Behnke of Deckerville, MI and many nieces and nephews. A private prayer service will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Deacon Matthew Lorent, officiating. Burial will follow in Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley.
