George H. Bird, age 91, formerly of Somerset, NJ and Lords Valley, PA, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale.
Mr. Bird was born July 21, 1929 in New Brunswick, NJ and was the son of the late Kenneth Edward and Alice Bird.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a truck driver for Billings Transfer.
George loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Korean War Veterans and NRA.
He is survived by one daughter: Susan Bird of Hamlin, PA and one son: Ken Bird of Bangor, PA; one grandson, Brian & his wife, Dawn Bird of Easton, PA; one granddaughter, Danielle & her husband, Chris Spino of Milford, NJ; one great grandson, Theodore Bird and one great granddaughter, Stacy Spino.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
