Beverly Ann Osborne, age 71, of Hawley passed away on January 8, 2021 at Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital Of Scranton after a short illness Beverly was born in Elmira, NY to the late Elmer and the late Dorothy (Hunsinger) Young. She moved to Hawley in the 1970's and had a successful career in real estate around Lake Wallenpaupack in the 1980's and 1990's. She was an avid writer of poetry and she would always be seen with a smile on her face. Her positive attitude toward life was infectious. In her later years, she worked as a long-time cashier at Lake Region IGA, where she was well known and well-liked by her customers and co-workers. She will be remembered most for her love of her family, her high energy and her extraordinary kindness. Bev was preceded in death by her partner, Richard Davison, her parents, her siblings Michael and Barbara Young and her grandson, Caleb J. Fox. She is survived by her children: Richard, Jr. and his wife, Debbie Osborne of Hawley, PA and : Carmela Fox of Lake Ariel, PA; grandchildren: Richard Osborne, III and his wife Karen, Courtney Osborne, Chloe Fox and Kira Fox; great grandchidren: Emma & Nora Osborne; one sister: Sonja Hand. She is also survived by Jeanne & Jeannie Davison. The family of Beverly would like to thank the staff of Commonwealth Health Regional Hospital of Scranton for their compassionate care in her final hours. A private memorial service will be held post pandemic. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Wayne Unit, 712 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor, PA 18517.
