Obituary of Richard Edward Thompson

Richard Edward Thompson, age 91, a resident of Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, and formerly of Lake Ariel, died Friday, February 5, 2021. Richard was born May 2, 1929, in Staten Island, NY. He was the son of the late Andrew and Eva (Rogers) Thompson. Richard was a Korean War Army veteran. He worked as a seaman in the shipping industry until his retirement. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel. His urn will be interred in the Thompson family plot in Fairview Cemetery, Staten Island, at a future date.
