Obituary of Randy Philip Orso

Randy Philip Orso, age 46, of Greentown died Thursday, February 4, 2021 at home. Born September 23, 1974, in Weymouth, MA, he was the son of Philip E. Orso and the late Charlene (Carberry) Orso. Randy was an ordained Interfaith Minister and passionate about his advocacy for the mentally ill and LGBTQI+ Communities. Randy graduated from Marshfield High School and St. Michael’s College. He was a life-long learner, always on a quest to learn more through his numerous college classes. He was fond of Coca-Cola memorabilia, Andy Warhol art and funny T-shirts. He was an avid foodie who loved sharing his recipes and meal ideas through his daily Facebook posts. He is survived by his father: Philip E. Orso of Greentown; his sister: Sharon Stanley of Elk Grove, CA; his niece: Summer Stanley; his nephew: Jason Stanley; his aunts and uncles: Rosemary Ingram of Fairfield, CA, Edward Orso of Reading, MA, Susan Carlino of Stoneham, MA, Paul Orso of Wilmington, MA, Miriam Chartier of Greentown, Wendy Delena of N. Reading, MA, and Walter Carberry of Malden, MA; as well as numerous cousins. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
