Frederick H. Nugent, age 81, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley, died Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Phyllis (Aaronsen) Nugent.
Born July 14, 1939, in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of the late Kenneth Harold and Edna (Levacher) Nugent. He and his wife Phyllis had been residents of Fawn Lake for 32 years. Prior to his retirement, Fred worked as a photographer. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and stained-glass.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter: Christine Azzarella Nugent of Hawley; one son: Matthew Nugent and his wife Jada of South Canaan; one sister: Clarissa O'Konsky of Breinigsville, PA; and three grandchildren: Laynee, Weston and Linden Nugent.
Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
