Timothy John Evans, age 59, of Fawn Lake Forest, Hawley died peacefully at home Monday, June 21, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Elizabeth (Sommers) Evans, whom he married in 1987. Born May 9, 1962, in Ridgewood, NJ, he was the son of Eileen (Norris) Evans of Paramus, NJ, and the late Grant Y. Evans. He was employed as the Service Manager at Robert Green Auto & Truck in Monticello, NY, where he had worked for 30 years. He loved to fish, garden, and play pool and darts. An excellent cook, he thoroughly enjoyed any culinary experience. However his favorite time was spent with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his three children: Jessica Lynn Dobinson and her husband William of Palmyra, PA, Timothy John Evans Jr. of Tunkhannock, PA, and Meghan Ashley Evans of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers: Thomas Evans of Elmwood Park, NJ, Steven Evans of Ringwood, NJ and Robert Evans of Waldwick, NJ; and four grandchildren: Brealynn Evans, William Dobinson, Varrah Evans and Ethan Dobinson. Calling hours will be Thursday, June24, from 5 to 8 PM at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, June 25, at 10:00 AM at BVM Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 314 Chestnut Ave, Hawley. Private cremation will be held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel.
