Lillian Olsen, age 89, of Rowland, PA and formerly of Griggstown, NJ, died Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough, NJ. Mrs. Olsen was born October 4, 1931 at Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Andrew and Margit (Ryen) Larsen. She was predeceased her husband, Henry in 1996. Lillian worked at the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab at Princeton University and worked for the Borough of Princeton. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, where she was part of the choir, bible study and ladies auxiliary. She loved animals and her joy was her family. Lillian valued her Norwegian heritage and was surrounded by her Norwegian community and friends everywhere she lived. She is survived by three daughters: Linda & her husband, Richard Myhre of Princeton, NJ; Debra & her husband, Craig Johnson of Skillman, NJ; Susan Berg of Somerset, NJ and two sons: Robert & his wife, Jane Olsen of Rowland, PA; Eric Olsen & his fiancée, Jan Mundy of Milford, PA; eight grandchildren, Douglas & Betsy Myhre; Jeffrey Myhre; Scott & Karen Olsen; Rita & Greg Guerrieri; Luke Johnson; Kristen & Ben Heishman; Kara Johnson; Richard Berg and four great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 at Bethel Lutheran Church, Church Road, Rowland with Rev. Neil Cadle officiating. Inurnment will be private at Rowland Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethel Lutheran Church, PO Box 193, Rowland, PA 18454 for the purchase of new hymnals.
