Obituary of Alicia J. Lauver

Alicia J. Lauver, age 85, of Woodloch Springs, Hawley died Friday, August 20, 2021, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert M. Lauver. Born September 2, 1935, in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Bert and Jean M. (Cjakowska) Janowski. Formerly of Succasunna, NJ, Alicia and her husband Robert moved to Woodoch Springs, Hawley, almost 30 years ago. As Woodloch Springs residents they frequently enjoyed playing golf. Alicia was a member of BVM Queen of Peace Church and was an active member of the Woodloch Springs Prayer Group. In addition to her husband, Alicia is survived by one daughter: Linda Wallace and her husband Michael of Ledgewood, NJ; and a grandson: Robert Wallace of Belmont, CA. Private cremation was held at Lake Region Crematory, Lake Ariel. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family. She will be interred at a future date at B.V.M.
