Obituary of James Scott Pasquariello
James “Scott” Pasquariello
Scotty Pasquariello passed away peacefully with his daughters beside him on November 11, 2021. Scott was born in Honesdale, PA and resided in Hawley his entire life. He is predeceased by his parents Bruno “Babs” and Betty Rose Pasquariello.
Scotty came from an industrious family who ran the Pasquar Fabrics Mill in Hawley and later moved to White Mills, PA. Scotty learned a great deal about the industry and was a fantastic upholsterer and ran a successful business for many years. Additionally, to working for a local furniture shop Scotty was employed by Gentex, Simpson PA for 32 years, painting helmets for our troops.
Scotty was a small engine pilot. If you were looking for him on the weekend, just stop by the Cherry Ridge Airport where he thoroughly enjoyed time with friends and family, before taking off for parts unknown. In addition to flying, he loved hunting and spending time at “The Jug” with the guys. If not at the airport, he could be found tinkering, painting, racing or rolling a car, or sharing his love of cars with his girls.
Scott is survived by daughter Margo Pasquariello-Bzdick and husband Michael Bzdick and by daughter Michelle Pasquariello and partner Justin Pallay. In addition, Scott was blessed with five beautiful grandchildren Danika, Jade, Farrah, Alivia and Addi whom he cherished.
Those wishing to pay respects may visit Teeter’s Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley, PA on Wednesday, November 17th from 3p.m. to 6p.m. Immediately followed by a brief service to which all are welcomed to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1848, Longmont, CO 80502 (www.npcf.us) or Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Rd., Honesdale, PA 18431
