Barbara B Nolan, age 85, of Lake Teedyuskung, Hawley and formerly of Valley Stream, NY, died Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at home.
Mrs. Nolan was born July 14, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY and was the daughter of the late Bernard and Rita (Stocks) Britt. She was predeceased by her husband, James in 1987.
She was a consultant for financial services. Barbara was an avid reader and loved to crochet with friends at Lake Teedyuskung. She enjoyed swimming, antiquing and playing 500 rummy with her family. She was a great host to friends and family and loved dogs.
She is survived by two daughters & sons-in-law, Madeline & Neil Marino of Chesapeake, VA; Helen & Bob Tait of Safety Harbor, FL one son & daughter-in-law, James & Lisa Nolan of Brightwaters, NY; four grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew and Brandon Marino and Zion Tait
one sister: Kathy Artale of Oneonta, NY; many loving nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 19th from 10 to 11 am at Teeters' Funeral Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by the memorial service at 11 am, officiated by Deacon Paul Cooper.
Cremation will be at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
